Description: From 12 to 24 inches tall. Leaves are basal, hairy and lobed. Flowers are on a long wiry stem, for petals. Note seed pod is surrounded by stamens in center of flower. I know this poppy as common poppy or field poopy.Location: Rich woods, steep slopes, in large numbers
