Description: 2 to 6 feet tall. Leaves are ovate with rounded teeth, pale green and soft, water beads up on leaf. Flower blossoms are spotted and orange in color, hang like pendent jewel; succulent stems exude juice when broken, is said to releave poison ivy irritation. Ripe fruit explode when handled leaving 5 coiled valves. Very simular genus but a in yellow is the Impatiens pallida.Location: Moist Woods, streamsides
