Description: From 2 to 4 feet tall. Leaves are in pairs without stalks, vary from ovate to elliptic, pointed or blunt. Flowers in pairs (see image below) on long stalks in leaf axis, violet in color, lobed lips suggest a face mouth partly closed by a 2 ridged yellow palate( see image below). Stem square and ridged
