PURPLE DEAD NETTLE
Lamium purpureum Mint Family Labiatae
March - may Common
Description: From 4 to 12 inches tall. Leaves are heart shaped and in pairs; upper leaves are crowded on the stem and frequently purple and lower leaves have longer stalks. Flower color varies from bluish red to purple.
