Saxifrage virginiensis Saxifrage Family  Saxifragaceae
March - May infrequent
Description: From 4 to 10 inches tall. Note the sticky hairy stem and rosette of broadly toothed oval leaves 1 - 3 inches, nearly as wide as long. The 5 petaled white flowers have 10 bright yellow stamens.

Location: Dry woods, rocky fields
