SOLOMON'S SEAL
Polygonatum biflorum Lily Family Liliaceae
May - June Common
Description: From 1 to 4 feet tall. Leaves are with out a stalk in two rows alternating along the stem, slightly ribbed with a matted bluish green color showing iridescence in the sun. Flowers come off the stem at each leaf, a forked flower stem has 1 to 2 bell type flowers,  greenish yellow color. Fruit is blue black when ripe.

Location: Moist woods, road side slopes
