Aquilegia canadensis Crowfoot Family Ranunculaceae
April-August Common
Description: From 12 to 36 inches tall. Leaves in divisions of 3 segments. Flowes may vary in the amount of flare and in color but are easily recognized. Drooping bells with 5 long, curved spurs are characteristic of columbine.

Location: Rocky slopes, roadsides, open woods
