 WILD LUPINE
Lupinus perrenis Bean or Pea Family  Leguminosae
May - June Infrequent
Description: From 8 to 24 inches tall. Leaves are divided into 7 to 11 elongated oval leaflets  radiating from a central location. Flowers are usually blue but may vary to pinkish or white. Note the pea like flowers, seeds pods are some what woolly. Plant is poisonous especially the seeds

Location: Sandy soil, slopes, well drained, Dry Soil
