WHITE VIOLET (pale or cream)
Viola striata Violet Family  Violaseae
April-July common
Description: From 6 to 12 inches  tall. Flowers lack puple on the back of petals or yellow at the base of petals, differing from the candian white violet. Large deeply cut stipules and much longer flower stalks. Stems are green and smooth.

Location: Low Moist woods, steambanks
